Reading Mainline No.2 (WLT993 Ex.L.T.RM993) .It was new to store at Willesden in Oct.1961 and allocated for service to Stonebridge Park in 1962.It went to Hounslow in 1973 and Norwood in 1978.In 1981 it moved to Clapham in 1981 and back to Willesden in 1983.It went to Stanford Brook in 1986 and withdrawn in 1987.It was bought by Southend Transport in 1988.it was withdrawn in 1993 and sold to Mainline in 1994.It was finally withdrawn in 1999.
Reading Mainline No.23 (JFO256 Ex.VLT23 Ex.LT. RM23).The bus was new as a trainer at to Upton Park in July 1959 and then to Clay Hall.Went into service at West Ham.It went to Walthamstow and back in 1960 and then to store at Poplar.In 1962 it went back to West Ham and became an Aldenham float from 1963 to 1978 when it was transferred to Stonebridge Park.In 1981 it went to Willesden and became an Aldenham float again in 1983.From 1983 to 1987 it visited Kingston,Norbiton,Stanford Brook,Hounslow,Camberwell and New Cross from where it was withdrawn in 1987.It then went into store at A.E.C. Southall and Turnham Green and then went as a trainer to Hounslow and Fulwell and also in 1991 Shepherds Bush.It was r-registered in 1994 by London Buses Ltd as LGH31T and worked from Fulwell as a staff bus.It was sold to Mainline and re-registered in 1995.It was the last bus on line D.It was rebuilt by Marshall in 2000 and went to Sovereign for Route 13 and withdrawn in 2005 and stored at Tolworth.Exported to Moscow in 1997.
