Mumbles Lighthouse was built in 1794 to guide vessels along the coast and into Swansea Bay, past the hazards of the Mixon Shoal ½ mile to the South. Automated 1934,electrified in 1969. 17,500 candela at a range of 15 nautical miles.

The bridge also provided a way for tradesmen and locals to cross the river.It is the Scottish Highlands' oldest known stone bridge.

Carrbridge Packhorse Bridge, also known as Coffin Bridge, is a historic packhorse bridge in the village of Carrbridge, in the Scottish Highlands. The bridge was built in 1717 to allow funeral processions to reach Duthil Church by crossing the River Dulnain.

The Guildhall which replaced a medieval guildhall which was situated on the northern side of Cathedral Square. The local people decided to erect a new structure to commemorate the restoration of the monarchy in 1660. The site selected for the new building had previously been occupied by the "Butter Cross" or dairy market. The current building, which was designed by John Lovin who had also been the architect for the restoration work on the Bishop's Palace in Peterborough, was completed in 1671.

The Old House is a distinctive black and white half-timbered house in High Town, Hereford, England, built in 1621. It was restored in the 19th century and became a museum of Jacobean life in 1929.

Sheffield Park House dates from about 1779 and was built by the first Lord Sheffield. Architect James Wyatt. The house was Wyatt's earliest Gothic house but the entrance front is a symmetrical classical conception. Two storeys. Seven windows. Ashlar. Cornice and battlemented parapet. The outer window bays are flanked by pilasters, between which the cornice is carried up to form a pointed arch with a stepped gable above containing an attic window and surmounted by 3 pinnacled finials. Sash windows with dripstones over and glazing bars intact. Central porch added in 1912. Service wing added to the west in 1912. The east front has a large pointed Gothic window, of which part only could originally be seen internally., 25th June 2021.

External view 30th July 2017.The castle's origins date back to the 11th Century and has remained within the Berkeley family since they reconstructed it in the 12th century, except for a period of royal ownership by the Tudors. It is traditionally believed to have been the scene of the murder of King Edward II in 1327.

The detatched tower of St.Mary's a feature more commonly found on the European continent but rarely in England. The tower is 17th century, and stands on the site of an earlier church.Tower of St.Mary's Church 30th July 2017.

The home of Edward Jenner, The Chantry, Jenner's home in Berkeley for 38 years, is now a museum. Jenner inoculated local people, free of charge, in a one-room hut in the garden, which he called the "Temple of Vaccinia".
