Les Hanois Lighthouse, 30th May 2006.Completed in 1862 and 108ft high the lighthouse was the first to be built with granite blocks interlocking both laterally and vertically, a design by James Douglass that became the standard for waveswept towers. Located on a rocky reef at the southwestern point of the island, marking the westernmost point of the Channel Islands.

Wesley Memorial Church,Epworth,North Lincolnshire.Built in 1889 as a memorial to John and Charles Wesley, this Methodist church contains the eighteenth-century communion table used by Samuel and John Wesley in the parish church and features a range of pictures and windows with Methodist associations.

Holy Trinity Church,York.The building dates mainly from the 15th century, but has features from its foundation in the 12th century right up to the 19th century. The box pews, unique in York, are exceptionally fine, and an interesting collection of monuments and memorials paint a picture of life in this busy city throughout the ages.
