Carrbridge Packhorse Bridge, also known as Coffin Bridge, is a historic packhorse bridge in the village of Carrbridge, in the Scottish Highlands. The bridge was built in 1717 to allow funeral processions to reach Duthil Church by crossing the River Dulnain.

Mumbles Lighthouse was built in 1794 to guide vessels along the coast and into Swansea Bay, past the hazards of the Mixon Shoal ½ mile to the South. Automated 1934,electrified in 1969. 17,500 candela at a range of 15 nautical miles.

Standing With Giants

The Guildhall which replaced a medieval guildhall which was situated on the northern side of Cathedral Square. The local people decided to erect a new structure to commemorate the restoration of the monarchy in 1660. The site selected for the new building had previously been occupied by the "Butter Cross" or dairy market. The current building, which was designed by John Lovin who had also been the architect for the restoration work on the Bishop's Palace in Peterborough, was completed in 1671.

The Mappa Mundi.It is a late 13th century summary of the contemporary world view and is a fascinating combination of biblical and classical learning. It is thought to have been created by richard of Haldingham or Lafford (a cleric). It was once described as a mind dump of the period. It is scribed on calves hide.

Anwoth Old Church is a ruined church building which was built in 1626 to serve the parish of Anwoth in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. It is roofless, but much of the walls remain, including the west gable which is surmounted by a bellcote. Anwoth was the seat of Samuel Rutherford's ministry from 1627 until he was banned from preaching and exiled to Aberdeen in 1636. The church underwent substantial improvements in the early 18th Century, and remained in use until 1826 when it was partly dismantled and Anwoth Parish Church was built. The remains of the building, along with its churchyard, are designated a Category A listed building; a tomb of the Gordon family and a 12-century cross slab within the churchyard are separately designated a scheduled monument.

St.Mary's Church 30th July 2017.There has been a church here as early as the Saxon period, but the present St Mary's dates primarily to the 13th and 14th centuries. The sheer size of the church is striking, situated as it is in such a small village. More unusual is the detatched tower, a feature more commonly found on the European continent but rarely in England. The tower is 17th century, and stands on the site of an earlier church.
